The team at The Rose Corporation recently completed the inspection and replacement of the wear bars on two existing 22-1/2 Ton Ladle Lifting Hooks for a local Steel Mill.  The job requirements included:

• The inspection of hooks for any loose rivets, which we then removed and replaced if required.
• The removal of worn wear bars with Arc air.
• Forming new high strength (A514) wear bars to fit hook shape.
• The replacement of worn wear bars with new bars, weld and inspect new welds.
